Course Syllabus: U.S. Citizenship Course
Course DescriptionU.S. Citizenship Course will help you to prepare to take the INS American citizenship exam. It consists of seven lessons: Becoming an American Citizen, American History, American Government, American Holidays and Symbols, U.S. Constitution (Preamble and Articles), U.S. Constitution (Bill of Rights and Amendments), and 100 Practice Test Questions. The course lessons each have an assignment and quiz for you to do upon reading the lesson. There are also netlinks and polls for you to participate in. By the time you are done, you will have a good idea of what you need to know qualify to apply for and to pass the INS exam. Passing this course does NOT grant U.S. citizenship.
Course Requirements1. Willingness to learn what it takes to prepare for the U.S. citizenship exam. 2. Sincere desire to be a good American citizen. Course Goals1. To give you information, so you can see if you qualify to apply for citizenship with INS.
2. To help give you information that you will need to take the INS citizenship exam.
3. To prepare you with practice sample questions to build confidence for taking the citizenship exam.
Course MaterialsThere are none recommended or suggested for this course.
Grading PolicyYou must do all your lessons and everything that is with your lessons and complete them all with a score of 70% or better to pass the course.
